they have been made using old, torn, reclaimed and beautiful papers and cloth with the odd item of old, found treasure....

birds.always...





without fail the one creature that gives me such joy when making is a bird..

i love shaping the body, making the tiny delicate wings from the oldest lace and finally supporting that wee body on tricky wire legs..

utterly lovely :)

here is my latest feathered friend..

small paper bird with heart shaped wings carefully hand stitched using beautiful old lace..
perched upon an old wooden cotton reel...
arrives in pretty packaging
